Phyllis Anne Yes, Gloucester is America's Oldest Seaport - Home of the Fisherman! In 2011 the Community Preservation Act awarded $20,000 grant to further restore The Phyllis A. that was built in Maine in 1925 and retired from the fishing boom off the coast of Gloucester in 2000.
