Mosquitoes in Peabody tested positive for West Nile Virus this week, while in Topsfield, the state identified mosquitoes carrying the more dangerous Eastern Equine Encephalitis.

Glover School is getting a makeover big time!  As in $25 million.....demolition has begun and new school will replace the old building. According to the Salem News......"The school is named after Revolutionary War hero Gen. John Glover, and because the town so values its history, officials thought long and hard before deciding to take it down. Renovation, however, was judged to be not financially viable."

City of Gloucester's new six-foot tall solar-powered kiosks(parking meters) are being installed over the next couple of days and they'll be turned on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. including for spaces within the I-4, C-2 site, which has been a parking free-for-all for more than a year.  Read how they're going to work.
