The season began a week late, due to the transition to a new operator, and the ferry made its inaugural run yesterday. As much as the commuters enjoy the ride, they need a cheaper fare to make it a daily habit & hope the MBTA will allow them to use an affordable commuter rail pass.

 The Peabody Legion Baseball Team will honor Fallen Peabody Firefighter James Rice with an opening game ceremony on Thursday at Peabody High's Bezemes Field.  Manager Lou Karger will be presenting Rice's Family with a plaque.

Rockport High School Marketing II students recently made presentations to a panel of community representatives about their ideas to improve the Rockport tourism industry. Community members including representatives of the town's Economic Development Committee, the Rotary Club and local business people listen and watch what they had to say.  Read on to learn more.  It's quite impressive. 

RE/MAX Advantage real estate agents participated in a 14 week Tom Ferry Sales training course facilitated by Pat Marcotte. The real estate agents learned how to incorporate new cutting edge technology into their real estate sales presentations. Each week, agents who attended were enlisted into a drawing to win the newest iPad.
